The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is decided as major eligibility criteria for qualifying as a Teacher for class 1 to VIII. The Guidelines for conducting the CTET are given by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) according to which a person can be only appointed as a School teacher if he/she ahs qualified the CTET Examination.

This year the CTET Exam was held in total 988 centres for which 7.64 lakh candidates were appeared which in terms is very huge number. For qualifying in CTET Exam 2015 Candidates are required to score minimum 60 percent marks that means candidates have to secure minimum 90 marks in both paper which are combined of 150 marks.

Declaration of Result: 1 April 2015
Dispatch of CTET Mark Certificate: 28 April 2015

CTET FEB 2015 Results

In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) had vide Notification dated 23rd August, 2010 and 29th July, 2011 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in classes I to VIII. It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that he/she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.
The rationale for including the TET as a minimum qualification for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher is as under:
  1. It would bring national standards and benchmark of teacher quality in the recruitment process.
  2. It would induce teacher education institutions and students from these institutions to further improve their performance standards.
  3. It would send a positive signal to all stakeholders that the Government lays special emphasis on teacher quality

  • Visit the official website OR click on the given link ( DIRECT LINK )
  • enter your registration id and password.
  • Then press submit button.
  • Now your CTET result will be display on your screen.
  • Save it and Take Print out for further use.
